About These Guidelines
These Community Guidelines apply to all users of GreenRoutes, including reviews, profile content, listing reports, and any other user-generated content submitted through the app or website. By using GreenRoutes, you agree to follow these guidelines and our Terms of Use.
GreenRoutes moderates content at its discretion. Content that violates these guidelines may be removed. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension.
Reviews and User Content
Reviews on GreenRoutes are user-generated opinions. They reflect the individual experiences and perspectives of each reviewer. GreenRoutes does not verify the accuracy of individual reviews.
Reviews should be:
- Based on your own genuine experience at the dispensary
- Honest and fair — positive or negative is fine as long as it's truthful
- Focused on the visit experience — service, atmosphere, location, staff
- Respectful to dispensary staff and other users
What Is Never Permitted
The following content is prohibited on GreenRoutes and will be removed:
- Unlawful content — content that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Threatening or violent content — threats, harassment, or content that promotes violence against any person or group
- Hateful or discriminatory content — content that is hateful, discriminatory, or derogatory based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
- Fraudulent or misleading content — fake reviews, false information about dispensaries, or content intended to mislead other users
- Medical or therapeutic claims — claims that cannabis products or dispensaries treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or disease
- Off-platform transaction solicitation — advertising or soliciting cannabis sales, deliveries, or payments outside of a licensed dispensary, or facilitating any unlicensed cannabis transaction
- Underage content — any content that suggests, promotes, or enables cannabis access for anyone under 21 years of age
- Personal information — posting private personal information about another person without their consent
- Spam — repetitive, promotional, or irrelevant content
- Impersonation — claiming to be a dispensary employee, government official, GreenRoutes staff, or another user
Badges and Participation Rewards
GreenRoutes awards in-app badges for community participation — actions like leaving reviews, saving dispensaries, and exploring the platform.
Badges are participation rewards only. Badges are not tied to positive reviews, the content of your reviews, or any purchase. You earn badges by participating, not by rating dispensaries positively. If any badge or recognition program is updated to include material incentives of any kind, clear disclosure will be provided in accordance with applicable FTC guidelines.
GIF Reviews
GreenRoutes allows users to include GIFs in reviews. GIF search and delivery within GreenRoutes is powered by GIPHY.
- GIFs are subject to the same community standards as all other review content
- Do not use GIFs that contain prohibited content as defined above
- GIPHY content is subject to GIPHY's own terms of service

Reporting Listing Issues
If you find incorrect, outdated, or misleading information in a GreenRoutes listing — including wrong hours, wrong address, wrong phone number, or a listing that should not be on the platform — use the in-app report tool to flag it.
- Only report genuine issues — do not abuse the reporting tool
- Provide as much detail as possible to help our team investigate
- Listing reports are reviewed by GreenRoutes staff

Moderation
GreenRoutes moderates user-generated content at its sole discretion. Moderation may include:
- Removing content that violates these guidelines
- Editing or restricting content that is partially compliant
- Suspending or terminating accounts that repeatedly violate these guidelines
- Reporting content to law enforcement where required by law
GreenRoutes is not obligated to moderate all content and makes no warranty that all content on the platform complies with these guidelines at all times.
Legal Notices
For adults 21+ only. GreenRoutes is for adults 21 years of age or older. New York adult-use cannabis is legal only for adults 21+. Do not use GreenRoutes to facilitate cannabis access for anyone under 21.
- GreenRoutes does not sell cannabis and is not a dispensary
- GreenRoutes does not deliver cannabis or fulfill cannabis orders
- All cannabis purchases must occur directly with a licensed New York dispensary
- Do not drive under the influence of cannabis
- Do not transport cannabis across state lines
- GreenRoutes is not affiliated with or endorsed by New York State or the Office of Cannabis Management
